Who We Are
ClearNumerology.com is operated by an individual entrepreneur registered in France (SIREN 917 929 382). The data controller for this website is Clara Voss. You can contact us via the contact form.
What Data We Collect and Why
Contact Form
When you use the contact form on this Site, you provide your name and email address. This data is transmitted via FormSubmit (a third-party form service) directly to the publisher. It is used solely to respond to your message and is not stored on the website server beyond what FormSubmit requires for transmission.
Legal basis: Legitimate interest (responding to your enquiry).
Retention: Messages are kept only as long as necessary to resolve your enquiry, and no longer than 3 years.
Server Logs
Our hosting provider, O2Switch, automatically records standard server log data when you visit the Site. This may include your IP address, browser type and version, pages visited, time and date of access, and referring URL.
Legal basis: Legitimate interest (security and technical maintenance).
Retention: Up to 12 months, as required by French law.
Calculators
The life path and angel number calculators on this Site run entirely in your browser. No data you enter into a calculator (birth dates, names) is transmitted to any server or stored anywhere.
Cookies
ClearNumerology.com does not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or behavioral profiling cookies.
The Site may store small amounts of data in your browser's localStorage to preserve your position within a session (for example, remembering a calculator result when you refresh the page). This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.
If we introduce any analytics or marketing cookies in the future, we will update this policy and request your consent before doing so.
Third-Party Services
FormSubmit
We use FormSubmit.co to process contact form submissions. When you submit the contact form, your name, email address, and message are transmitted to FormSubmit's servers and forwarded to us. More information about FormSubmit is available at formsubmit.co.
Google Fonts
This Site uses Google Fonts to load typefaces (Cormorant Garamond, DM Sans, Space Mono). These fonts are loaded from Google's servers, which means Google may log your IP address when you visit pages on this Site. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy. We are reviewing the option to self-host fonts to eliminate this data transfer.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties for marketing or commercial purposes. Data is shared only with the service providers described above (FormSubmit, O2Switch) to the extent necessary to operate the Site.
Your Rights Under GDPR
If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access: you may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification: you may ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right to erasure: you may ask us to delete your personal data where there is no lawful basis for continued processing.
- Right to restriction: you may ask us to limit how we use your data in certain circumstances.
- Right to object: you may object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Right to portability: you may request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us via the contact form. We will respond within 30 days.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL: www.cnil.fr
Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. Our hosting provider (O2Switch) operates secure infrastructure based in France.
No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
This Site is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal data to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date of the most recent update is shown at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
